Parents, both domestic and abroad, now know that there are others who experience vulnerability when their teens leave home after high school. Lloyd Learning Labs specializes in supporting parents with anxiety related to teens transitioning out of the home after high school; whether they are heading off to the college campus, the military base, or (simply) residential independence. The coaches at Lloyd Learning Labs ensure that parents face this occurrence with confidence, competence, and a clear conscience which makes all the difference for mothers and their teens.

Lloyd Learning Labs, LLC. was founded in February 2020 by Dr. Michelle Lloyd after her oldest of three daughters was driven 17 hours away to Virginia Tech after graduating from high school. Upon her return to Texas, she realized that she was unprepared for her daughters’ transition and found herself unsettled, emotionally, while spending time in her prayer closet. At this point, she knew strategies needed to be implemented to improve the competence, consciousness, and confidence of other mothers whose teens will be leaving home solely because she found herself in a state of mind and emotions that were unspeakable. She researched and obtained the answers needed to make sure no mother ever has to experience what she encountered again.
Launching the business in Sugar Land, Texas, via social media, allows Dr. Lloyd to touch mothers in the United States, Canada, and Australia in addition to a number of other locations. During her journey, she has supported hundreds of mothers through conference presentations, group sessions, one-on-one consultations, and self-study by providing answers and supporting the implementation of actions needed whether the teen is a high school junior and/or senior. Her goal is to touch 5,000 or more mothers within the next five years.
